Aquilegia Plant – Ideas for gardens and decoration

Good morning, my dear friends and flower lovers! Today we want to talk about a new plant, in this way we will have another species to count on for the decoration of our gardens!

I don't know if you've ever heard of the Aquilegia plant! These are beautiful plants of very easy cultivation … if you are looking for simple solutions today we bring you the Aquilegias that are simple cultivation plants.

Within these plants we can find almost 100 different perennial herbaceous species … yes, with a more than constant flowering.

To decorate the garden or to grow in a pot and decorate the patio, the terrace or your small balcony. If you don't have any of this, just grow them inside our home, but the ideal thing is that I can give them the sun and the air.

In addition to being known as Aquilegia, we will also know the plant and we will find the name Aguileñas more familiar … and they are not olives!

The flowering of this lovely plant occurs in spring-summer and we can see its small and beautiful flowers. These are composed of five sepals and also five petals .. all of them arranged in the form of a spur.

Among the colors we can find them in different shades, from white, to red, purple, pink, blue, orange … as you see a wide variety with which we can play and take into account when decorating our garden.

as I mentioned before, the Aquilegia you need a place of sun or, a place that has half shade .. usually it is cultivated in soils that are composed of black earth, peat and sand ..

Irrigation is very important, it is a plant that needs to be watered daily, you must not forget! They are the ideal plants for hedges, rockery, for edges and, also for pots so we can decorate our interiors. Aquilegia can measure between 30 and 1 meter high.

Finally we tell you that it reproduces in a simple way through seeds at the end of summer … in autumn it should be by division of bushes. And its germination will be between 20 and 30 days. Of course, before sowing the seeds, they should receive cold so we can put them in the fridge about 15 days and then proceed to planting.
