A small Dhaka team that likes dirty hands and tidy gardens

Shine My Garden began with a simple frustration. Families across Dhaka were spending real money on plants, pots and rooftop soil, then struggling to find someone reliable to look after them. The usual options were a mali who came when he could, or a large landscaping company that was not interested in a balcony with twenty pots.

We set out to fill that gap: a gardening service that turns up on the agreed day, tells you the price before starting, does careful work on small spaces as well as large ones, and takes the waste away. It sounds basic. In practice, it is what most of our clients say they could not find before.

Today our crews look after house gardens, rooftop and balcony gardens, office grounds and shared spaces in apartment buildings across the city. Most of our work comes from people who saw a neighbour’s garden and asked who does it.
